This is It.

It's a brisk Saturday morning here in Redding and I was up at 5:45 am. It's a new habit for me, getting up at the crack of dawn. I cant say it was something I set out to do. Lord, knows I am NOT typically a morning person, but I feel each new day beckoning me in my sleep. I am sitting here looking out my apartment window and the view is breathtaking! I am on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Sacramento River and the promise God gave to me back in Chicago just months ago has gone from a 3X4 of paint on canvas, to a reality that I awake to and am greeted by in the morning - every morning. Maybe that's why I have come to like mornings so much. Mornings remind me that "this is it".

The Revival Girl has landed in Redding
October 1, 2009:  Today it is officially one month to the day that I arrived in Redding. The Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry (BSSM) officially started on the 15th and we are now over two weeks in. You gotta love that title. Why do they call it "supernatural" anyway? Sounds a little new age or sci-fi if you ask me? Well, it's not. In fact, it's all about revival here and revival always involves God's power. I entitled this blog, "The Revival girl has landed in Redding" but it it's more like, revival has landed on this girl!
